It has been announced by the Birmingham Chamber of Commerce – organisers of the British Pavilion at Spielwarenmesse ( 29 January – 3 February 2014) - that grants of up to £1500 per company will be available to British exhibitors. This represents a 50% increase on the grants available at the 2013 show. The number of these grants is not yet confirmed, and it is unlikely that they will be offered to the total number of UK exhibitors – 163 in 2013. However, this reinforces the need for companies to apply early. It is not necessary to exhibit within the Pavilion to be eligible for the grant, but a first come, first served system is likely to operate.
