The directors of Babéco who appeared on Dragon's Den in July, are celebrating after receiving backing from a major company for their innovative baby product, the Baby Station.
Al Jimenez and his business partner Kate Ingram tried to win a £150,000 investment from the five dragons on the BBC Two show to no avail. But since Mothercare, has begun selling the product on-line.
The Baby Station, rrp £49.99, is a baby seat and play base, suitable from four months. A flexible foam seat offers comfort for the child and an adjustable three point harness ensures safety. Its unique benefit allows babies to reach their toys on the floor, encouraging confident, independent play.
