Working with ebay, a new web-based sales system called ‘Auction People' has been launched to help make it easier to money out of surplus stock, returns, or refurbished items.
Auction People (which is branded auctionPeople) is being marketed as the leading eBay ‘Trading Assistant', which helps sellers get a good price on the worldwide market of eBay. It handles the entire process, allowing companies to concentrate on their day-to-day business.
Matt Garcia, co-founder of the service, says, ‘Often excess stock accounts for a huge loss of time, as well as money. Our aim is to remove all the hassle and return with a cheque. Our business clients are always so grateful knowing that we have saved them time and trouble, as well as making them money. Our clients value our no-sale-no-fee arrangement. With nothing to pay upfront, they have nothing to lose.'
Working with a wide variety of businesses, selling goods with a value of at least £100 (or less for bulk orders), auctionPeople is a registered eBay Trading Assistant and PowerSeller. It covers London and the home counties, with clients choosing to use the drop-shop, collection service, or popular visiting service whereby the items are photographed and measured at the client's property and kept there until the sale.
