For many years the nursery trade has been familiar with long standing owner Brian Gray who was a regaulr face at most shows and exhibitions. He has decided to take well earned retirement but has agreed to help on the stand at the BPA Show in October.

Emmay Ltd is a growing company that supplies the trade with an extensive range of home safety product, safety gates and licensed bedroom lighting. The acquisition of Toddle Time further strengthens their ambitious plans for growth. Gordon Downie, Sales Director said, ‘The Toddle Time business is a first step in our strategic planning, strengthening our product portfolio and giving us access to a wide channel of independent distribution. This provides a perfect platform to launch our new product ranges. We intend to champion those ranges with trade and consumer marketing support throughout 2009'.

Emmay's first step was to bolster the sales force with two new appointments and to strengthen the product development team.

Gordon added, ‘There will be no immediate changes to the day to day running of the Toddle Time accounts except for a change in office address and phone numbers, otherwise business continues as normal. We will endeavour to make the transition process as painless as possible.'
