Disney and Brio Collaborate on New Pre-School Toys
Published:  17 October, 2008

Disney Consumer Products and Swedish toymaker Brio, have got together to produce a brand new wooden toy range based on the highly popular Playhouse Disney preschool TV shows.

The new range sees the arrival of eleven new and exciting products made by Brio based on Playhouse Disney's ‘Mickey Mouse Clubhouse' and ‘My Friends Tigger & Pooh' TV shows. They will promote fun and healthy development within many social, creative and academic areas. Combining creative storytelling and engaging characters, Playhouse Disney sets out to make learning a playful experience for preschoolers.

Brio and Disney's relationship dates back to 1960, when Brio made their first Disney-licensed wooden toy products - Mickey Mouse, Pluto and Donald Duck were among this first, successful range. Brio is a global corporation, and the biggest in wooden toys.
