Two remaining months can only underpin what is proving, without doubt,a memorable year for Tiippitoes. Harrogate heralded the Company's entry of the wooden products sector. Such is the appetite for them that six months on in Cologne, Tippitoes' customers were ordering "Littondale" furniture as a matter of course. This level of trust is understandably a source of pride but, as General Manager Paul Walters says,"the responsibility, not least to deliver, that comes with that is not lost on us".
Whilst continuing to serve burgeoning demand from its amply stocked warehouse the Company has also been busily expanding its range generally and embarked upon a make-over of existing products. None of this success has deflected Tippitoes from its key objective of combining quality with affordability something the Company will not compromise, believing there is a "de facto" price/quality floor for every product type below which returns and worse are a risk to which neither retailer nor consumer should be exposed.
So what will 2009 bring? "On the back of this year's performance, major investment in an array of products for Harrogate", says Chairman, Tim Howarth.
