Two Awards for Taggies
Published:  11 November, 2008

The much acclaimed Practical Pre-School Awards have recognised the high quality and superb play value of Taggies in two popular products. Little Taggies won a Gold Award, and Taggies Play Pal Puppets were awarded a Bronze.

One tester on the judging panel described 'Little Taggies' as...

"A quality product whose main selling point is to act as a comforter to newborns and young babies, and it proved very successful when tested with this specific age range.

I personally find it to be a positive product as it is able to both soothe and stimulate sensory development.  At a base level, they also have the ability to engage in early years development too: recognition of number, colour, quality, and so on.  As popular at the end of the trial as they were at the beginning - in fact even my staff wanted one!"

In softest fleece, this exquisite blanky is almost impossible not to stroke! Surrounded with tags of pastel blues, pinks and yellows both patterned and plain, it's a feast for a newborn baby's developing senses. The Summer Sky design that won Gold (rrp £12.99) is one of 11 available in this particular range, with  three further ranges -  Love Notes (8 fabric designs), Colours (5 fabric designs) and  Christmas (2 fabric designs), also available in Little Taggies. With the new organic range Naturals ( 4 fabric designs) coming into shops in early  2009, there really is a Taggies to suit absolutely everyone!

Haptic Ltd, distributor of Taggies in the UK and Ireland was also delighted to receive a Bronze Award for Taggies Play Pal Puppets. Director Jane Hillary says,' Its been a fantastic year for Taggies and we're delighted with the recognition these awards bring. Taggies offer excellent quality and play value in a huge range that retailers love. We're very excited at imminent arrival of Taggies Naturals - the new 100% organic range, expected in January 09.'
