Graco's car seats campaign commended

Graco is celebrating winning two awards this month for a high profile PR campaign undertaken to promote its car seat range last year.The Lichfield based company won awards in the Best Consumer Relations and Best Use of Media Relations categories of the Midlands CIPR awards for its ‘Buy Second Hand, Get No Second Chance' car seat safety campaign.

The campaign, which was developed and managed by Graco's Midlands based PR consultancy, McCann Erickson PR, raised awareness amongst parents on the dangers of buying second-hand car seats from sources such as eBay and car boot fairs, and highlighted the strong reasons for purchasing new. The campaign achieved widespread media coverage, both nationally and regionally, raising awareness of Graco's expertise and authority in the car seat category, and of its comprehensive product range.
