Little French Giraffe seeks good homes in the UK...
Published:  06 February, 2009

There's a quiet revolution going on for teething babies....she's called Sophie la Girafe. Sophie the Giraffe has been a favourite teething toy in France for more than 40 years, and since her creation in 1961 she has wowed over 10 million babies with her natural beauty and retro charm. These days in France 6 out of 10 newborn babies are given their own Sophie la Girafe. Designed to stimulate all 5 senses and soothe teething gums, Sophie the Giraffe is a safe and all-natural teething toy.

In today's fast paced world it is unusual to see a high production toy still made by hand. Produced in the French Alps with 14 manual manufacturing steps her flexible, renewable, natural rubber material and food grade paints mean that she is the non-toxic choice for baby to chew on. Recent celeb converts (and their babies!) seen out and about with Sophie include Nicole Richie, Sofia Coppola and Naomi Watts whilst Kate Hudson, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Debra Messing all have Sophies for their little ones.

Recently voted "Mother and Baby Choice" in Mother and Baby and "Best Buy" in Practical Parenting magazines it looks like Sophie's success is set to continue here in the UK as baby's first sensory development toy. If you'd like to become a stockist and be part of the Sophie revolution, get in touch today...please note - all potential homes will be thoroughly vetted!
