Kids designs clothes from on soft, eco-friendly bamboo
Published:  06 February, 2009

Chatterpants is a new kids clothing brand in bright colours, practical designs, natural, environmentally friendly, ethical fabrics full of the desire to celebrate children's artistic talents! Each design is made from bamboo which is less detrimental to the environment than cotton farming, since it requires fewer chemicals and pesticides, less water, is kinder to soil. Bamboo also feels super soft yet is hardwearing.

Chatterpants creator Sally Campbell was born in New Zealand and feels her belief in activity being good for kids and her own love of bright colours is ‘very Kiwi.' Many of the garments get their unique look from the fact they have been designed by the kids themselves. In an effort to encourage kids to be creative and to express themselves, Sally arranges special art projects at schools that form the basis of many designs and the artists are rewarded for their efforts with clothing freebies.
