JoJo Maman Bébé, has been announced the Retail/Leisure Business of the Year in the Fast Growth Business Awards 2007, sponsored by T-Mobile whilst founder, Laura Tenison MBE, proudly cradled a second award of Female Entrepreneur of the Year! Launched in 1993, JoJo Maman Bébé sells high quality, imaginative and practical clothing and products for pregnant women and families with young children.
Laura has organically grown the company from a start-up size business to its current size with over 200 direct employees whilst keeping the company private. "We are absolutely delighted to win two categories in these prestigious awards. We are growing at a tremendous rate and our products are sold through a multitude of channels - our catalogue, a thriving website, 16 boutiques plus we have a further eight stores opening this year. We pride ourselves on our first- class customer service and winning these award is extremely encouraging and motivating."
Presented by Adrienne Lawler of Sky News, the awards ceremony that honours the UK's fastest growing businesses is organised by Crimson Business in conjunction with Growing Business magazine. The black tie event took place at the London Marriott on Thursday 29 March and over 300 entrepreneurs and industry leaders attended the superb event.
