Specialist infant mattress brand PurFlo and nursery furniture brand Jack Horner have been bought from the administrator by CL Capital following the closure of the Sleepsafe business. The new management team includes Ian Jones, Director, who originally sold the Jack Horner brand to Sleepsafe in May 2005 and Paul Evans, Sales Manager.
"When Sleepsafe went into administration I knew that I had to rescue the PurFlo and Jack Horner brands – both of which have great growth potential" explains Ian Jones. "The purchase of PurFlo in particular presents us with a tremendously exciting opportunity to really expand awareness and knowledge about the unique properties of the PurFlo mattress and sleep system – both of which have an important role to play in infant health and safety."
Historically, little has been done to educate consumers and trade about the important role the PurFlo mattress can play in infant health and safety – a situation which the new management team plan to address through a proactive programme of consumer and trade education and communication.
