World of Wonder, a national chain of 34 independently owned toy stores in Ireland have announced the winners of their Annual Toy Industry Awards for 2007. Awards were presented during the retail group's 22nd annual AGM and retailer conference in the Castleknock Hotel and Country Club, Dublin.
Winners were chosen based on a number of criteria including sales performance, innovation and play value.
Pleo, a one-week old infant Camarasaurus dinosaur 'robo-pet' from US company UGOBE, is tipped to be a huge hit but he won't be on sale until October this year.

Children's Book of the Year: The Incredible Book Eating Boy by Oliver Jeffers
Supplier of the Year: Smoby
Agent of the Year: David Watt
