The BPA Retail membership scheme launched at Harrogate Nursery Fair continues to grow in popularity as retailers recognise the valuable benefits of official BPA endorsement, and of the host of membership exclusive services that are on offer.
BPA Retail status is given only when nursery retailers are able to demonstrate that they have fulfilled a set of stringent criteria. Qualifying members are provided with a membership certificate and window stickers for public display. When they see these signs, consumers can feel confident that the retailer meets a certain level of customer service and technical knowledge.
A consumer PR campaign is being implemented targeting the parental press and alerting consumers of the benefits of shopping with a BPA Retail Member. As recognition of the scheme increases, it will become more important than ever for retailers to opt in, thereby demonstrating that they hold the needs of the consumer as paramount.
If you would like to know more about BPA Retail and how you can become a member, call Jenny Burrows at the BPA on 0845 456 9580.
