The Baby Products Association is proud to announce the launch of Concept 2007 – the perfect platform for inventors of products for babies and children to showcase their ideas and designs. Would be inventors, whether a professional designer, student, mum, dad, grandparent or anybody who has an idea, are invited to put forward their designs and prototypes for this year’s competition.
Entrants could win the opportunity to display their invention to thousands of trade buyers at this year’s BPA Baby and Child at the NEC, Birmingham, and go on to full production and huge sales as with previous finalists. They would also receive a cash prize as a finalist.
To take part, entrants should submit an entry form together with detailed drawings or photographs of their concept to the BPA before the 1st July 2007. Ideas and designs can be of a complete product or even a single component or attachment that would make a difference to the efficiency in use or safety of an existing product.
Entries can be for nursery furniture and accessories and for a wide range of nursery equipment including: carrycots and cots; wheeled items such as prams, pushchairs and buggies; child safety equipment such as harnesses reins and safety barriers; baby bouncers; baby carriers; high chairs; car seats; carry cradles; clothing; maternity wear; early learning toys; feeding and drinking equipment or products relating body care.
