The Wilkinet Baby Carrier Company has been selected by the prestigious Passport to Export programme to help take its successful carrier around the World. The company, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, has spent the last year investing in a far reaching brand awareness programme through consumer advertising and public relations, and has updated its website to make it more accessible to international customers.
Wilkinet qualified for the Passport to Export programme by demonstrating their commitment to exporting their UK manufactured baby carrier, having a strong business structure and a highly exportable product.
Passport to Export (P2E) is the UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) flagship programme to support selected UK exporters. The programme is a 12- month scheme that offers export mentoring, training, market visits, trade show support and access to grants and funding. Wilkinet's first big event on the programme is to exhibit the Wilkinet baby carrier at Kind & Jugend in Cologne this year.
