The brown denim fairtrade carrier is woven by weavers from an Indian fairtrade co-operative. Designed and manufactured in the UK, to reduce carbon emissions, it is made with fairtrade organic cotton and shipped to England rather than by air, packaged in a reusable cotton bag and lasts for generations making it truly environmentally friendly.

It is also the height of fashion! Gideon, one of the babies that inspired the original Wilkinet, says: “Our new fairtrade organic denim is a wonderfully soft and sumptuous new fabric. The Wilkinet Carrier was originally designed by mother of eight, Sally Wilkins, to carry tiny 5lb newborns up to 25lb toddlers. It adapts to the changing needs of mother and baby.
