Oomo's designers have come up with a great new way to travel with a newborn! Every kilo counts when you're travelling and most travel cots have cumbersome metal poles that fix the basinette in place but seem to take on a life of their own when it comes to folding down - packing the whole thing up can often be little short of a nightmare...

So Oomo have taken their award-winning super light Roomo travel cot, and added a zip-on / zip-off basinette complete with mattress. Quick and simple to put up, just leave the bassinette in place when folding the cot and it packs neatly into the carry bag, weighing just over 9kg (including the bassinette.) Roomo2 also doubles up as a handy playpen and retails at around £74.99.
