Ambitious new carrier range supports bright future for Tomy
Published:  01 October, 2007

This Autumn Tomy announce one of their most significant nursery launches for decades; a totally new carrier range incorporating three innovative carriers each developed in close conjunction with back and posture experts from the Anglo European College of Chiropractic.

The entry level Tomy Freestyle Classic Carrier will be priced at an ultra competitive £24.99 and the mid range Tomy Freestyle Premier, where Tomy anticipate their volume sales coming from at £39.99. The top of the range Tomy Freestyle Premier Detachable features a unique patented 'S-Lock System' which enables the baby pouch to be completely removed from the parent harness for greater ease of loading and unloading priced at only £49.99 - a full £20 cheaper than equivalent top of the range carriers.

Each carrier in Tomy's new range offers a superior level of comfort for both baby and parent. A chiropractor designed bucket shaped baby seat offers babies significantly more back and bottom support in the sitting position. This unique Tomy design marks a significant departure from the hammock principle of traditional carriers which leaves babies to hang rather than sit in a cocooned, completely supported environment. In addition a head hugger to prevent side to side head roll is featured in the Premier carriers. New totally unique patented clips make size adjustments and securing baby in place a truly one person job, accomplished easily and safely in seconds.

Superior parent comfort is assured with luxurious harness padding and unique lumbar support spreading the baby's weight evenly across the body. These 'back friendly' features have led to the carrier range being endorsed by the Anglo European College of Chiropractic.
