Royal Philips Electronics is pleased to announce the appointment of James Attfield as Sales Director of the UK Domestic Appliances & Personal Care business, including the Philips AVENT branded Mother & Childcare business.
James has a wealth of experience in FMCG market in both the UK and Europe and will be responsible for setting the objectives and strategies for both the Small Domestic Appliances and Personal Care business as well as the Philips AVENT branded Mother & Childcare business.
With the appointment of James Attfield, Mitch Levene, currently Sales Director for the Philips AVENT brand in the UK and Ireland will assume a new position in the International Philips AVENT The marketing team has also been strengthened with Justine Guest, Customer Marketing Director Personal Care (including Mother & Childcare), now heading up the marketing team with Paul Hobden, Customer Marketing Director Domestic Appliances, to achieve some aggressive marketing objectives through innovative marketing programs based on validated shopper insights.
Jean Libby joins PurFlo as UK Sales manager as the team is expanding with a further two new staff members joining to manage the increase in demand. With over 30 years sales experience, Jean took early retirement to travel the world, but was lured back to work for PurFlo at a time of increasing consumer interest in anti-allergy and environmentally sound products.
Louise Strange has joined Summer Infant as Customer Relationship Manager, further strengthening the company's operations team. Summer Infant is putting in place a new structure to manage the supply chain from the factory through the warehouse to the retailers. It will be Louise's responsibility to handle the interface with customers and ensure they receive the high customer service Summer Infant is constantly striving to achieve. John, who joined Summer Infant at the beginning of April 2007, and covers Derbyshire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Worcestershire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Warwickshire and the West Midlands. John knows the industry inside out having spent 38 years in the toy and nursery sectors. Diana Grant joins the Bambino Mio team as Sales Support. Diana previously worked for pushchair manufacturer Graco as their Customer Services Team Leader. Diana's previous experience in marketing and customer services within the nursery industry gives Bambino Mio extra experience in dealing with UK stockists. Diana will be supporting hundreds of independent stockists and developing new strategies to help increase each stores sales of the award winning reusable nappies.
