Green Baby represents Organic Growth at The Baby Show
Published:  01 October, 2007

The Baby Show in association with Bounty returns to Earls Court 19th to 21st October for its flagship annual event and exhibitor Jill Barker, founder of Green Baby will be appearing on the Comfort Pure Stage with Prima Baby. The Baby Show has a growing number of exhibitors in the organic, natural and fair-trade sectors and the presence of a speaker designated to this topic also signifies the rising importance of the green issue for the consumer.

An exhibitor since the birth of the Shows in 2002, Jill's presence on stage follows the launch of her book this September 'Baby Green - Bringing up your baby the eco friendly way'. Jill Barker says “A platform such as this offers a great opportunity to reach parents who haven't thought about the impact of chemicals on their children and the environment.” This demonstrates the Show's commitment not just to facilitating those looking for environmentally friendly products and services, but to providing a pro-choice environment.

Show Director Nicole Boakes comments “We welcome both highstreet brands and smaller more niche companies, providing information and choice to our visitors on absolutely everything pregnancy, baby and beyond.”

Since its conception at Olympia in 2002, The Baby Show has evolved into three Shows a year, servicing over 70,000 visitors at three venues in total; Earls Court, London, the NEC, Birmingham and, new to 2007, ExCeL, London.

“For many of the larger exhibitors it's the perfect platform to launch new products, for start ups it's the ideal chance to break-through and gain awareness in this market,” says Nicole.

The Earls Court Show is now almost sold out, and many of the exhibitors have stands already reserved at ExCeL (March 2008). This presence at the two London Shows will help exhibitors to maximise their reach to a total captive audience of over 50,000.
