After many months of testing and analysing of results, the highly awaited 2007 Practical Pre-School Awards were announced to the book, toy and child care industry on Friday 14 September.
With well over 200 entries from more than 90 different companies, the Practical Pre-School Awards is one of the highlights for the toy, nursery and education resource sectors. Tested by childcare professionals, the results are viewed as a true measure of what's good and what's not in a field that is swamped with products to choose from.
Competition in the hotly contested Childcare category was as fierce as ever with new entrant, Naty AB, being crowned as overall winner for its eco-friendly ranges of baby wipes, toilet wipes, disposable nappies and nappy pants. The runner-up slot was taken by Little Helper for its Fun Pod. Other companies to achieve the much coveted Gold Award status this year were Stayput Trading Ltd for its Buggymuff/Footmuff and the Hauck Group Ltd for its I'Coo Pico Pushchair.
These are just a few of this year's outstanding entries. With more than 200 products tested, all entries benefit from the invaluable feedback provided by our testers.
