The Baby Shows reach 74,000 in 2007
Published:  05 December, 2007

The Baby Show in association with Bounty sponsored by Volvo, organised by Clarion Events held their final Show of 2007 at Earls Court in October. Following the launch of the ExCeL Show in March (23,337 visitors), and NEC Show in May (24,667 visitors) Earls Court brought in a further 26,000 visitors meaning the total number of parents and parents-to-be who attended the Shows reached a record 74,000 throughout the year.

“The Baby Shows have gone from strength to strength this year thanks to the support of our clients and growing number of visitors. With over 285 exhibitors and new features the Show content at Earls Court was richer than ever. It not only delivered for us but for the industry as a whole,” said Nicole Boakes, Show Director.

Thrilled with increasingly good results, exhibitors were keen to rebook straight away and more than half rebooked onsite at Earls Court. Holly Brunning of Leebruss said:

“This was our first Baby Show with Clarion and we had a very successful Show. It by far exceeded our expectations in terms of the response from parents and the levels of orders. We are already looking forward to the next one!”

The Show provides the ultimate platform for small family run businesses to launch and present the public with new products alongside the large established names of the baby world.

“We have had such an unbelievable show speaking to mums and helping them get to know Little Dish. As a small company facing many challenges, being at the Show has given us the ideal place to meet our parents. It has truly been a very well spent investment” said Liz from Little Dish. It was her first Baby Show and she has since re-booked.

Regular exhibitor Julia Minchin of Hippychick Ltd commented “We had a great show as usual and were rushed off our feet. Lots of people came directly to our stand to try the Hipseat on having seen it on This Morning, and as a result our Hipseat sales at the Show were better than ever.“

The first of the 2008 Shows is filling up fast and exhibitors are urged to book their stands.
