Maclaren, the creator of lightweight, umbrella-fold buggies and from-birth travel systems, have announced an unprecedented new Lifetime warranty. Unique in the buggy industry, the programme is being introduced with Maclaren 2008 Collection Buggys and will be offered in 2008 as a complimentary upgrade to the statutory Warranty.
Parents on-the-go can now enjoy this additional security and convenience, knowing their buggy is covered for any manufacturing defects during its lifetime.
"Maclaren's new Lifetime warranty reflects our confidence, which we want to pass on to our Customers, in the unsurpassed quality of Maclaren design, engineering, production and quality control" said Dylan Johnson, Head of Maclaren UK and Ireland.
By simply registering online within 30 days of purchase, parents can extend the Maclaren basic Warranty to Global Lifetime coverage for their new buggy, which will be honoured at all Maclaren Authorised Service Centres worldwide. Authorised Service Centres can be located at any time, whether at home or while travelling, by visiting www.maclarenbaby.com.
The Sovereign Lifetime WarrantyTM covers any manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, for buggys used in normal conditions and in compliance with operating instructions. Authorised Service Centres can also repair damage caused by normal wear and tear or accident, which are not covered by warranty.
Maclaren Buggys are designed to be the lightest, most stylish and durable in their class. The 2008 Collection brings new safety and customisation features and colourful designs. Attention to detail and quality makes the 2008 collection the benchmark for the industry. Maclaren has a solution for every parent's need - without compromising portability, durability or style.
The buggies feature a new child-safe, quick release buckle on the 5 point harness and coordinating, stylish hubcaps. Both the buckle and hubcaps are inspired by the legendary British Spitfire aircraft, a nod to Owen Maclaren's first career as aeronautical engineer and member of the Spitfire design team. Also featuring on the Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport and Quest Mod a new easy to use central foot-brake.
Maclaren remains true to Owen Maclaren's legacy of quality design and engineering. Maclaren Buggys are engineered for safety and durability and must pass a battery of 80 tests, including Maclaren's Gold Standard and testing by an independent testing house.
2008 brings parents the option of customising their buggy. Reversible seat liners, brightly coloured, interchangeable harnesses and comfort packs let parents change the look according to their style and mood. In addition, Maclaren has added exciting new designs, luxurious fabrics and unique patterns.
This year, additional security and comfort combine with colourful personalisation options. Maclaren buggies are designed for life on the go!
Highlights of the Collection:
Volo's airy dynamic is underscored by the sleek new curved seat and choice of bold colours or beach-inspired stripes.
Triumph and Twin Triumph are now delivered with two sets of harnesses, each in bright contrasting colours and patterns, so Mum can customise the look whenever she likes!
