The Maxi-Cosi Mura has been designed with a different focus: the child. The Mura offers an innovative package where comfort, spaciousness and flexibility are the key selling points.
Dorel has made an ambitious move to target a different sector of the stroller market and with this product, it has moved away from ‘light and compact for mum', towards ‘comfort for the child'.
Comfort and safety has been maximized in every feature of the Mura, it offers new levels of versatility, luxury and durability not seen for some time. From birth to four years old the occupant is guaranteed to have the most pleasurable journey possible.
The Maxi-Cosi flair for great design is evident in the Mura. The new look pushchair will appeal to parents, offering the option of a three- or four-wheeled stroller, both of which are quick and easy to fold using handle-based buttons. There is a ‘basic' fold, followed by a more compact fold if required, and the wheels can also be removed in a one-click movement for stowing in a smaller space.
The Mura has a shaped seat which is extremely spacious and soft with a padded harness. The seat features a ‘t-bar' handle which can be removed for younger children or provides something ‘fun' for older children to hold on to. The seat is reversible, clicking off the funky, robust frame with a single pull-handle. The foot-operated brake pedal can easily be accessed with the seat in either position, and the handle bar has a 3-level height adjustment.
Co-ordinated accessories include a ‘soft cot'. A new innovation for many UK consumers, this is a smaller, soft carrycot ideal for the first few months which fits on top of the pram's reclined seat. It is extremely quick to attach or remove and is easy to carry without disturbing the baby. For those wanting a more traditional size carry cot to create a pram body, the Mura has an alternative Carrycot. This also folds flat for easy storage and is fitted using the adapters.
The Mura is also compatible with the best selling and award winning Maxi-Cosi CabrioFix, these can be used together to create a perfect travel system. The CabrioFix can be fitted in a car using the traditional 3-point seat belt or the car's Isofix fittings when using the separate EasyFix base. This means that the seat itself simply clicks on and off the base when required, so that both baby and seat can easily be lifted in and out of the car.
Three colours will be available in the UK, each matched with a choice of new co-ordinated CabrioFix colourways: Atlantic Slice (two colours of blue) with CabrioFix in Frisbee; Flamingo Slice (pink and black) with CabrioFix in Chilli Pepper; and Grey Slice (grey and black) with CabrioFix in Phantom.
RRP for the Maxi-Cosi Mura 3-wheeler will be £300.00 and for the 4-wheeler £330.00. The soft cot will be £69.99 and the pram carrycot £125.00.
