The scheme welcomes anyone who has created a new design that is conceptual or unique in application, for the nursery sector, whether you are a student, parent, designer or engineer; experienced or not.  If selected as a finalist, you will be given the opportunity to display your invention at BPA Baby & Child in the presence of manufacturers and trade buyers.  This is a fantastic arena to reveal new designs to the market and network within the industry.

Last year's winner Andrew Trainer, designer of the winning Pouch Baby Carrier commented, "Being able to showcase your product at an event where all the relevant contacts are together under one roof really makes things much easier".  One of the finalists, Adrienne Grant, designer of the Purée Pod, agreed and added that she found the opportunity to gain publicity and feedback on her product at BPA Baby & Child to be invaluable.  She now has the confidence to approach and negotiate with suppliers without feeling out of her depth.  Both found the application process to be straightforward and are well on the way to bringing their products to market.

However, products that are available for sale prior to or at the time of BPA Baby & Child 2008, will not be eligible for entry.
