Kiddy Goes Haute Couture!
Published:  22 May, 2008

Research has shown that the concepts of style and trend are very often mentioned before criteria such as functionality, safety or quality, so that was reason enough for Kiddy to grow its in-house design team and deal intensively with these themes last year.

The result - a gleaming collection of select and limited-edition child seats, now available. From a number of colour studies and style collages, Kiddy has produced some extraordinary and very glamorous cover materials that will grace the Kiddy Protect as well as the Kiddy Maxi Pro child seat -  both seats are suitable for children from birth to 18 months.

In addition to the elegant black-red colour combination ‘black noblesse,' the light blue ‘foretaste of spring' or the summery ‘green hayfield', a number of other colour variations will be offered in the programme.

All child seats in the ‘Kiddy limited edition' are distinguished by lovely and exquisite details in material finishing as well as intricate embroideries in the sun shade material, appealing to all parents who want to provide something very special for their new little one.

‘For decades, Kiddy has stood for automotive child safety. But we would like to get out of the car and accompany parents and their children everywhere, at all times,'   says Jan-Stefan Würstl, Director and Head of the Development Department at Kiddy's HQ

And so the new kiddy product range is divided into three areas:

Car seats, travel systems & buggies and accessories for trips with children.

Kiddy click 'n move is the new, very lightweight travel system, at only 5.4 kg and is compatible with the Kiddy Protect, Kiddy Maxi Pro as well as Cosy Nest child seats.   The most important features of the Kiddy Click 'n Move is that the travel system sets up and collapses quickly and easily. The chassis is very easy to manoeuvre, and the child seat as well as the buggy unit can be set facing either direction, either with or against the direction of travel. The seating unit is adjustable to three levels, from upright to a lying position. Furthermore, a window is integrated into the side of the sun shade, so that the baby can enjoy an unobstructed view outside at all times.
