Having traded as a franchise operation for the last 14 years, owner Helen Hickman has decided to "go it alone" and Bump Start got off to a flying start on Saturday 17th February. The baby shop at Whaddon, Milton Keynes had a relaunch party day with lots of special offers and events including experts from Britax doing car seat checks.
A £500 voucher was also given away in a competition run by the local radio station. The opening ceremony was carried out (with assistance!) by young Whaddon resident, Charlie Becks, aged 7 months.
"I was delighted by how many people attended our special day. It was great to see so many of our customers, both old and new, celebrating with us. We would also like to thank our suppliers for all their support and messages of goodwill. We are very lucky in that we are well established as a nursery shop in the Milton Keynes area, and we now plan to move forward with further improvements to our showroom, a new website and the very best and innovative products for parents and babies that the nursery industry can offer us".
