Parthenon Entertainment Group Ltd, the global entertainment rights company, has announced that Tomy will be the European master toy licensee for The Magic Roundabout. Tomy is planning a series of product launches for spring 2009.
October saw the world premiere of a brand new CGI animated TV series of The Magic Roundabout, broadcast in the UK on Nickelodeon's number one rating commercial preschool channel, Nick Jr. The show has been watched by 1.7million individuals since it launched.
Tomy, the leading manufacturer of toys for properties including Thomas and Friends and Teletubbies, is planning a strong product roll out for The Magic Roundabout and aims to develop product ranges across the key categories for preschool toys.

The new Magic Roundabout series currently airs in the UK on Nick Jr every weekend at 12pm and every day at 6pm on sister channel Nick Jr 2.
