BPA's Executive committee was confirmed at the recent AGM held in Banbury on 11 June 2008. One new member was elected; Dylan Johnson of Maclaren Europe Ltd who was co-opted alongside Mike Chapman of East Coast Nursery Ltd.
Wheeled Goods continue to be represented by Jonathan Feingold of Kooltrade Ltd and Andrew Ratcliffe of Dorel UK, who remains chairman for another year. Furniture is represented by Phil Ludlow-Smith of Saplings of Shropshire Ltd and Mark Wilson of Mamas and Papas; Components and Accessories by Selina Russell of Cheeky Rascals and Neil Slagel of Petite Star Products Ltd; Soft Goods by Rob Holmes of Gro-Group (who was also appointed as this years Show Director) and Andrew Kluge of The Supercover Group Ltd. Product Safety is represented by Tracey Bamber of Graco UK & Ireland and Luke Burns of Britax.
The Committee structure consists of twelve members with two members each representing five sectors (above) plus two co-opted members making up the twelve. We at the BPA are keen to ensure that the Executive Committee structure is representative of the nursery market as it exists today.
All members of BPA are eligible to stand and we would welcome new nominations next year.
