Babyhut founder and well-known industry face Chetana Palmer, is setting off on a 60-mile cycle ride from London to Hove on July 13th, to raise money for a little known charity , called the Lily Foundation.
A friend of Chetana's lost their baby girl, Lily last year to a rare and little understood metabolic condition called Mitochondrial Disease. The Lily Foundation has been set up by Lizzie and Dave, Lily's parents.
Chetana said, ‘I have done this ride before (with and without a child on the back of the bike) but that does not make it any easier, you get to know when the hills are coming! My bike sits in the garden all year rusting and it gets its once a year outing on this bike ride. My legs never forgive me afterwards, let alone my bum!'
If you'd like to sponsor Chetana please click on her personal web www.justgiving.com/chetanaparmar and follow the directions. All donations are willingly accepted before or after the event. You can find out more about the charity at http://www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk/.
