I hope you've all recovered from that Wimbledon men's final by now - what a match, what a contest and what steel from both players. I couldn't help noticing how large the entourage for Nadal was; uncle, parents, coach, fitness guru and so on all grimacing and exulting with each swing of the racket. It's expertise and support that makes the difference when you feel under pressure, and that's what I'm hoping the team at Nursery Industry can bring you with our expanding team.
Your entourage is at an exciting developmental stage as its getting bigger, fast. You've already met Lucy Jewson, Louise Iles and Michael Morse, and now we have three new faces - Annie O'Leary, who has her finger on the pulse of what parents want in the baby product consumer market as you'll see on page 20. Philip Drazon who is one of the top men at Fox Hayes (with a whole department dedicated to commercial law in the baby products and services arena.), answers your property questions on page 12.
In this issue we visit the West Country on page 16 to see which businesses have blossomed in near perfect surroundings. And Dr Amanda Gummer, who founded the FUNdamentals website looks at how important routine is today for babies and young children on page 18.
The next issue is packed with wheeled goods, nappies and bouncers. Feel free to send news press releases to me at emmapeters@talktalk.net for September's Ni, and if you or someone in your company is well qualified and experienced in a field we ought to be covering and wants to join our panel - please let me know!
Best Wishes
