New Spitfire, taking off August 2008!

Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Spitfire plane going into service with the RAF and the aviation achievements of Maclaren founder, Owen Maclaren, the new Maclaren Spitfire launches August 2008.

As a former Aeronautical Engineer, one of Owen Maclaren's main achievements was a life saving invention which enabled the Spitfire to survive a bullet through the radiator. Years later, after seeing his daughter struggle with a large, unwieldy pram, he designed the world's first lightweight buggy.

Today, Maclaren Buggys are still at the forefront of design & innovation. Suitable from birth the Spitfire Buggy comes with a reversible seat liner, head hugger and footmuff, at an SRP of £185.
