Despite ongoing concerns about the global economy, retailer registrations for the 2009 ABC Kids Expo^®, September 13 - 16, 2009 in Las Vegas Nevada, continue to roll into the offices of All Baby & Child, Inc^® the parent company which produces the event.  "We are targeting 13% growth in the attendance of our retail stores for this year's event.  Global advertising efforts are "paying off" based on early response and registrations, as 25% of our attendees presently registered are from outside the United States.  This puts us on a pace to double the previous attendance for international retailers," said a spokesperson.

Despite the gloomy world economic outlook, All Baby & Child launched the new All Baby & Child Spring Education Conference in May of 2009.  This event, held in Louisville KY from May 4^th - 6^th 2009, was designed exclusively for the Independent Specialty Stores and was enthusiastically attended by hundreds of members of the Juvenile Products Industry.  Plans are already underway for a second annual Spring Education Conference and for what is sure to become a "must attend/can't miss" event for the industry.

The ABC Kids Expo was launched in September of 2003, utilising 10,500 net square meters at the Las Vegas Convention Center. "In five short years The ABC Kids Expo grew to become the largest trade show for the juvenile products industry in the Western Hemisphere.  Now heading into our seventh year, we have grown to our present size of 33,200 net square meters, with more than 900 exhibitors displaying their newest and most innovative products throughout our expansive exhibit space," said a spokesperson.

Textbooks are having to be re-written at an extraordinary rate as research on brain development shows us so much more than we ever knew before about how babies' brains develop. Following on from the success of last year's conference, this year's Talk To Your Baby (TTYB) conference will look at the vital links between the maturing brain and early communication development, highlighting the establishment of secure infant mental health.
