John Crane Limited is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Pilkington as Managing Director. Simon moves from his current position as Managing Director of John Adams Limited and Toy Brokers Limited, to take up his new post from 1 April 2009.
Commenting on the new appointment John Crane said, "Simon is clearly highly respected in the industry and will undoubtedly add significant value to our business and this appointment is in accordance with the company's succession planning strategy."
John Crane remains a full time director and will assist Simon in the delivery of the Company's growth plans.
Simon commented: "I am delighted to be joining John Crane Limited, which is known for its quality wooden and pre-school toys and strength of distribution. It provides an exciting and well established base from which to grow the business well into the future".
