2009 is the 40th birthday year of the famous Very Hungry Caterpillar. Eric Carle's classic storybook was first published in 1969 charming children and parents worldwide. Licensed gift company Rainbow Designs is launching a collection of new gifts featuring the distinctive characters from Carle's timeless tale. The colourful new arrivals include a selection of Plush, Hand Puppets, a Developmental Lion and Elephant and wooden gifts set coming out later in the year.
