In a parents' survey undertaken by baby sleep experts The Gro Company, 61% of new parents say their biggest worry is ensuring the safe sleep of their baby and just under half of all parents (45%) say their concern over safe sleep is being able to monitor their baby's temperature accurately.
In response to this concern The Gro Company's range of safe sleeping products includes the award winning, patented Gro-egg. Designed to give parents reassurance, the egg is a colour coded ‘at a glance' room thermometer, which indicates, through a range of different coloured lights, whether the room is too hot, too cold or the right temperature.
The Gro-egg glows yellow if the room is in the correct temperature range; blue if it's under 16°C; orange if warm, between 20 - 24°C; and red if the room is too warm, over 24°C. There is a digital thermometer display with a permanent back-lit read out to allow parents to see the exact reading of the room and the light of the egg provides a soft nightlight glow in the nursery.
