The date and venue for Christmas in July 2009, the toy industry's premier long-lead press event, is now confirmed. After huge success in 2008, the organisers, Evolution PR Ltd, are to keep the venue the same, the Hellenic Centre in Marylebone - whilst the date has been confirmed as Friday 10th of July 2009.
As many companies have now experienced, the purpose of Christmas in July is to bring together many toy companies at one convenient, up-market location and invite members of the press who are looking for products to fill their Christmas features. With 200 members of the press attending, some say that it's the perfect base from which to start any Christmas PR strategy. Lunch and other refreshments are continual throughout the day and the event is supported by a website and full colour brochure.
There are just 24 stands available and there is an early booking discount.
