Growing show boasts many new exhibitors
Published:  27 April, 2009

Organisers of this year’s Childcare and Nursery Show are reporting a surge in uptake amongst exhibitors.  Nineteen new businesses have now booked space at the show in addition to those organisations already involved.

Due to the success of last year’s show, this year’s event has been relocated to London’s Olympia to accommodate the additional exhibition stands, features and buyers. Taking place on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th June the show looks set to be bigger than ever.

The new exhibitors cover a range of resources to support the childcare and nursery sector.  All have been attracted by the number and calibre of buyers expected to attend, based on the success of last year’s event.  Delegate pre-registration is already up on last year’s figures.

The show offers a host of exciting features. New this year is The Childcare Company’s ‘A Space to Learn’ feature.   This takes as its starting point the concept of the exploration of space, the universe and the future under the title ‘Out of this World’. From ideas created in the room, practitioners can springboard onto a variety of further activities and learning. There will be opportunities to interact with the Space to Learn and to take part in child centred and adult initiated experiences, all focused upon children’s learning.  The Childcare Company is hoping that nurseries will gain inspiration to create a ‘Space to Learn’ in their own setting.

This year in addition to the ‘A Space to Learn’ feature The Childcare and Nursery Show has organised a schedule of seminars on a variety of stimulating topics. These will be delivered by industry specialists who have first hand practical experience of working within the childcare industry.  Details of the seminar programme will be released shortly.
