A recent drive to increase BPA Retail membership by the Baby Products Association (BPA) is paying dividends with two new retailers signing up.
The Baby Sleep Shop from Fordingbridge and Simply Baby from Lancaster are the latest to join BPA Retail, giving them a voice in the industry coupled with a range of other benefits.
To name a few, BPA Retail members can utilise discounts from many manufacturers and suppliers, employ free PR to promote their business, plus receive regular bulletins on technical developments, product safety requirements and all aspects relevant to the nursery retail sector.
BPA Retail ensures members conform to certain criteria, which means consumers can shop with confidence at a member's store, in the knowledge that the safety and security of their child is of utmost importance to the vendor.
"In the current climate, nursery retailers need the support of a trade association more than ever, but many do not have the resources available for subscription fees," said a spokesperson. In recognition of this, the BPA is offering a discounted BPA Retail membership rate from just £45 for 2009.
