Natures Purest, the organic nursery range company, has beaten off stiff competition to win ‘Best New Business 2009’ in the prestigious Leicestershire Business Awards. Natures Purest was announced as winner on the 24th April at the Awards dinner, attended by 700 of Leicestershire’s business elite.
Natures Purest makes 100% organic baby clothes, toys and nursery pieces for babies. In the last year the company has launched two new ranges, Natures Knits and Tiny Toes, which compliment its existing Sleepy Safari and Hug Me Bear collections.
The ‘New Business’ category was judged by John Bowler, an audit partner at Grant Thornton, and Mairi Watson, Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University. The judges found that Natures Purest not only met but exceeded the objectives they had set in their business plan, whilst at the same time establishing a position of sustainable future profitability and success.
Natures Purest has had plenty to shout about over the last twelve months; during 2008 the company successfully launched their ranges into Europe and now has a global distribution network covering the USA, Australia, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Spain, France, Italy, Benelux, Lebanon, Greece, Slovenia, Finland and are currently speaking to a potential distributor in the United Arab Emirates.
Jane Albon, Managing Director of Natures Purest said: ‘We are delighted to have won this fantastic Award, my team worked so hard to get Natures Purest where it is today and I feel proud that their hard work has been recognised’
