As the company expands, work on the new showroom and offices in Northampton is almost complete. A purpose built display area on the second floor will showcase the company's ranges, enabling retailers to visit and make informed choices for their stores. Commenting on the new showroom, John Crane said, "Wood is such a tactile product; we want people to come along to touch and play with the products on offer. For all our collections retailers can come along and check the quality, but also really see the innovation and design that has gone into each and every item."
The John Crane Ltd family of products will soon be hitting the headlines with a number of award schemes being entered. The Company regularly supports: the Practical Pre-School, Good Toy, Right Start Best Toy and the Mother & Baby Awards, with all of these being tested by children or childcare professionals the company's products always do well.
As part of an ongoing campaign, educational psychologist Dr Amanda Gummer's help has been enlisted. Looking at the many roleplay toys on offer from PINTOY and Branching Out, Amanda has commented on their position in today's modern society. The article will run in leading consumer publications and direct consumers toward a chosen John Crane Ltd retailer.
An in-house marketing and public relations department at John Crane Ltd ensures that all their retailers can benefit from added publicity such as this. Keith Elmer, Sales and Marketing Director commented, "Our dedicated team set the Company above others when it comes to retailer support. Our customers have already taken advantage of a range of projects that bring a higher footfall to their store."
This year the Company will once again bring a whole host of new products to the industry, with many already in stock.
Pin Furniture introduces a collection of fondant coloured chairs to its nursery furniture collection. These Two Tone Chairs will satisfy even the most trendy of little fashionistas, adding a hint of colour to any chic nursery setting. The chairs have round seats and backs plus a useful carry handle for ease of movement around a room. Available in five colourways: lilac, pink, green, blue and yellow - there will be one to suit even the most exacting of tiny tots!
Alternatively, from the Branching Out Collection, Stack Up makes a colourful and adorable addition to playtime. Each of the blocks features a delightful jungle character plus a number from one to ten.
The ten colourful animals are: a zebra, giraffe, dolphin, penguin, elephant, monkey, hippo, frog, lion and bear. The amount of animal characters on each block also denotes the number, allowing for counting and ordering games and also encouraging mathematical vocabulary.
Savvy retailers can see more than this mere taster of new products by booking an appointment to visit the Company's new showroom in Northampton.
