Leading cot mattress specialists Kit for Kids has launched the roll out of an in-store Point of Sale unit with audio and video to help retailers' growth in their cot mattress sales. Robert Harley, National Account Manager said "We understand that with every leap forward we make in cot mattress technology, both consumers and retailers alike need to fully understand the benefits of our developments. When coupled with an in-store training programme these units will not only enable the retailer to better advise consumers on choosing the right cot mattress but will also create more opportunities to up-sell and ultimately sell more."
Mike Hobson from Little Treasures, the largest Independent Nursery retailer in Wales, was the first to receive one of the new stands "As a new supplier to Little Treasures Kit for Kids have really shown their support to the independent retailer. The Point of Sale unit helps to create new retail space within our store by utilising dead space, and will maximize our revenue per cot mattress sale. After receiving comprehensive training our staff are fully briefed on how to explain the features and benefits on each mattress. In short, it is going to help us to sell more mattresses" he commented.
