The NATLL Good Toy Awards has announced its winners and PlayMais is delighted to accept a Gold Award in the creative toys category.
PlayMais is a new craft toy using 100% natural materials – cornstarch and natural plant dyes – in colourful building bricks that can stick to each other and many different surfaces, including paper, glass and plastic.
Kids can create imaginative models quickly and easily – by just dampening the bricks to make them stick.
PlayMais is biodegradable too, so when it’s time to throw away an old creation, it can be placed on the compost heap or left out in the recycling bin.
The educational benefits helped win over the judges, who could see PlayMais would help develop fine motor skills, colour matching and creativity.
Basic sets of PlayMais are available in medium, large, extra large and mega sizes, with a retail price from around £4.99 or for a little extra inspiration there are themed packs, including sea, circus, jungle, castle and pirate themes, priced around £12.99–£16.99.
PlayMais has already won awards in its native country Germany, and looks set to take the UK market by storm!
