Darius Januskevicius, who runs the evening shift at Dorel's Thetford distribution centre, has been announced as ‘Warehouse Person of the Year'.
Darius received his award from journalist and television personality John Sargeant at an event at London's Dorchester Hotel on 30 June 2009.
Darius is employed by Century Logistics, who provide logistics services for Dorel, the nursery products manufacturer and owner of the Quinny, Maxi-Cosi and Safety 1st brands. He works full-time on Dorel business, ensuring that orders arrive with retailers accurately and on-time.
Andrew Ratcliffe, Managing Director of Dorel (UK) said:"No matter how great our products are, customers won't buy them if they're not available with retailers. The work that Darius does is vital to our continued success and we're delighted to see him win this well-deserved reward".
