Clippasafe presents new products at Kind + Jugend...
Published:  28 August, 2009

Clippasafe, the leading child safety product manufacturer, will present two new product prototypes at this year's Kind + Jugend.

The Magnetic Lock has been designed to help parents keep children out of harms way in an increasingly fast-paced world. Following on from the popular Self-Adhesive Locks, the new magnetic system allows cupboards and drawers to be secured quickly and effortlessly. It can be switched between ‘always locked' and ‘always open' if required, and a magnetic key releases the lock when access is needed. The Socket Protector is set to be a must-have item for any parent. It prevents small children from unplugging electrical equipment and covers any exposed electrical plug sockets. An important safety feature is that the Socket Protector does not require the removal of the wall socket when fitting, and it can be fitted to single or double wall sockets.

Both products will be officially launched in 2010, joining Clippasafe's hugely successfully range of home safety products.

Roger Cheetham, Clippasafe's managing director, commented:

"The team are constantly developing new products and we have gained a reputation for being innovative. These latest additions will be hugely beneficial to parents and initial feedback from our testers has been exceptional."

The prototypes can be viewed at the Clippasafe stand alongside some of the company's biggest selling lines. These include the popular, lightweight Carramio Baby Carrier and the award-winning Bump Belt, an innovative product that secures the lap portion of a seatbelt underneath the pregnancy bump, ensuring that it does not ride up over the abdomen and womb in the event of an accident.
