Bulldog Licensing has announced that MV Sports and Leisure has launched its range of Goochicoo plush dolls to the trade with incredible take-up right across retail.
Goochicoo is the brainchild of designer Kaely Backland and writer Ged Backland and features a range of cheeky little monkeys with ‘nappitude', accompanied by slogans that give them a clever and funny edge, such as ‘King Pong' and ‘Been Inside Nine Months‘.
Despite only launching last year, the brand has already been a huge success, appearing on a range of cutlery by Tommee Tippee, branded bedding by Izziwotnot, apparel from Poetic Gem, and wooden toys from Kiss HK, whilst greeting cards are being distributed nationwide by UK Greetings and a range of Goochicoo designs are available on Moonpig, the on-line greeting card site.
Already a major-seller across multiple categories, Goochicoo doll sales is expected to be extremely strong with huge interest at both a retail and consumer level. Building on the existing demand, MV will further support the sales of the new product with TV advertising in the run-up to the key Christmas sales period.
