Bottle Buddy faces the judges in Dragons Den
Published:  28 August, 2009

Alan McElligott, inventor of what is said to be the world's first electronic powdered baby formula dispenser, faced the ruthless Dragons in the latest series of BBC2's Dragons Den.

Using Bottle Buddy to make up a baby's bottle with powdered formula overcomes some of the serious health risks associated with formula feeding.  Research by the Archives of Disease in Childhood found errors in miscounting scoops of formula when making up a baby's bottle can lead to childhood obesity by overdosing the bottles and undernourishment from bottles that do not have enough formula in them.

Already available in Mothercare, retailer Jo Jo's has doubled its original order since the product aired on the BBC2 show!
