Bulldog Licensing has announced that three more licensees have been signed for innovative pre-school property Super WHY.
Super WHY was created to teach kids the fundamentals of reading through interactive storybook adventures. The award-winning animated series from Out of the Blue Enterprises is currently showing at a prime 6.30pm slot on Nick Jr., where it is regularly bringing in more than 150,000 viewers and has peaked at over 230,000.
The new licensees are Character World for bedding, Little Star Creations for colouring and activity books, and Redan which will include the title in its widely read Fun To Learn range. The new deals add to an existing licensing programme that includes RC2 as master toy licensee and Cesar for hanging and boxed dress-up, whilst Melbry Events is conducting a series of events in shopping malls across the UK, where kids get the chance to meet their heroes from the show.
"We are delighted to have signed three more top licensees. There will be plenty more to come during the rest of 2009 - the RC2 range is set to grow throughout the year and we are also due to announce new licensees for apparel and several other new sectors," said Bulldog MD Rob Corney.
