Nuby & Natural Touch brands now direct to the UK

Nuby has decided to terminate its exclusive distribution agreement with Jackel International to concentrate on launching and building the Nuby & Natural Touch brands direct to the UK trade.

Marc Hardenberg and Julie Ebrey (from Hardenberg&Co) will be joining the UK company that will trade as Nuby International LLP and the team will be strengthened further with additional Sales, Quality/Technical & Consumer Support staff to support the structure and the UK market.

"We have three very clear objectives for the UK market to deliver growth and success: more brand choice; more product; and more profit," Eddie Hakim CEO of Luv n' Care USA told Nursery Industry.

Eddie continued: "We are working closely with Jackel management team on the sell through period that forms part of the termination claus in the contract, to ensure you receive consistent supply and service levels through to the end of February 2010. This is our primary focus for the next few months and you have our assurances that both parties will maintain the current level of service and stock availability to ensure minimal disruption to your business.

"Maria and Marc will be in touch soon to arrange a meeting to run through the detail of the UK operation and the smooth transition from Jackel to Nuby.
